Digital Identity

Rob Richards (Mashery, Inc.)
The Basics Room 209

OpenID and Information Cards are two of the most prominent emerging identity technologies. Although you might not be ready to start implementing these technologies into your current systems and architecture, it is important that you understand the benefits, usage cases and differences between these two technologies to prepare for the future. During this presentation we will examine what digital identities are and specifically what each of these technologies is. While not going too in-depth on implementation details, some tools and libraries will be introduced giving you a head start to the digital identity revolution.
