ZendCon 08 will have four different types of sessions. Detailed session information will be posted in the coming weeks.

Breakout Sessions

ZendCon 08 will feature an increase of almost 20% in the number of breakout sessions. Each Breakout Session is 60 minutes in length. We are lining up the top names in the PHP community to present the important topics of the day.

Tutorials

These intensive 3 hour sessions will allow the speaker the time to dive into the topic in detail. All tutorials will be presented on Monday, September 15th, the day before the conference begins. Make you sure register for the tutorial day if you plan on attending.

Keynote Sessions

We are pulling out all the stops for the keynotes at ZendCon 08. In previous years we've had r0ml, Chris Anderson, Cory Doctorow, and Joel Spolsky; in addition to a host of partners presenting to you their visions. As is our tradition, our CEO of Zend, Harold Goldberg, will kick the conference off with his session Tuesday morning. He will share details of new innovations for creating, deploying and managing PHP applications. Stay tuned as we announce the other exciting guests that will be joining us.

UnConference Sessions

For the second consecutive year, we are pleased to offer the ZendCon UnCon to attendees. We try our best to make sure that all topics are covered at ZendCon but we know that we will miss some. The UnCon was designed to present a forum for attendees who share an interest in other PHP topics. If you are attending ZendCon and want to present, please visit the Call For Papers page and submit an UnCon session. Our UnCon content committee will review all of the submissions and let you know if yours was selected.
